Saturn and its rings

Hello, and welcome to another fun installment of this newsletter that paid subscribers have access to. In these monthly discussion threads, I will be introducing a particular astrology topic, sometimes about transits or other timing techniques, sometimes about birth chart placements (don’t hesitate to suggest topics you want me to do for the coming months!) You will be able to leave your thoughts in the comments section and connect with other people about their experiences there. The best way to learn astrology is by seeing how it plays out in real people’s lives, so that is my goal in creating these threads.

The topic we’re going in depth on this month is what happens when transit Saturn aspects your sun or moon. The diagrams below illustrate what it looks like when Saturn aspects your sun or moon by transit, so that you have a visual for what I’m talking about. You can also find these transits to your own chart by going here and playing around with dates. Because Saturn has just moved into Pisces, I know a lot of Pisces sun and moon people are wondering what they can expect over the next three years. In addition to Pisces sun and moons - Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini sun and moon people will also be affected by Saturn forming a square or opposition to their luminaries. I’m not going to sugar coat it, this is not a light and fluffy transit. I would even go so far to say that Saturn aspecting your sun or moon can be much more challenging than a Saturn return. You ultimately do come out of these transits a much stronger person though, often with a new set of structures and healthier habits put in place.
