Gemini Season Monthly Forecast
New moon + Sun-Mercury cazimi in Gemini, Saturn enters Aries, Venus-Chiron, Venus into Taurus, Jupiter and Mercury enter Cancer, full moon in Sagittarius, Mars squares Uranus and then moves to Virgo!
Happy first day of Gemini season! We have an action packed month ahead of us, as both Saturn and Jupiter enter new signs. As usual, I will first be going over the most significant transits taking place over the next few weeks, and then paid subscribers can read on to see what all of these transits mean for their individual rising sign. Think of these forecasts as a written reading that you can keep referring back to over the next month.
The main underlying theme for Gemini season is that the Sun is moving through this mutable, air sign from May 20 - June 20. Gemini season is a typically more social time of the year, where you’re more open to making new connections or trying out new experiences with people. You may be branching out of your usual circle during this time, or you could simply feel closer in existing friendships. In addition, you might have numerous ideas come to you for writing or speaking related projects, or you may be attending events or even traveling.
The first few days of Gemini season are super pleasant, as Venus in Aries moves into an exact trine with Mars in Leo throughout May 20-22. I went over this a bit in last month’s forecast, but this points to how both social and romantic relationships may be flowing more easily. The end of May into early June would be a great time to put more effort into dating or organizing a group event. You could also be tapping into creative inspiration that you want to put towards your work or a side hobby.
The first major transit of Gemini season is Saturn leaving Pisces and moving into Aries on May 25. Saturn will be in Aries until September 1 of this year before returning once again from February 2026 - April 2028. This is a huge transit to watch, as Saturn is very telling of bigger themes you’re experiencing for about a 2.5 year period. With Saturn in Aries for the next several months, you may have a desire to build new structures or be more assertive and independent in the Aries ruled house of your chart. However, you may feel initial stress or a desire to change something in this part of your life first. Think of the next few months as a preview of what you will continue to build over the next 2-3 years.
On the night of May 26, (morning of the 27th for time zones ahead of America), there is a new moon in Gemini, which will take place at 6 degrees. This new moon will be in a close conjunction with its ruling planet, Mercury, which moved into Gemini less than a day before on the night of the 25th. The new moon will serve as a reset for the next month, so in the days that immediately follow the 26th, note how opportunities begin to arise in the Gemini ruled house of your chart. You may also have a greater desire to learn, read, or teach yourself a practical new skill, or again there may be greater social activity right around this time. This new moon will serve as both a send off to Jupiter wrapping up its year long cycle through Gemini and set the stage for Uranus moving into this same part of your chart in early July. So the themes you notice with this new moon may feel like a bigger deal than usual.
This new moon is immediately followed by a Sun-Mercury cazimi in Gemini, which will go exact on the 29-30 of May. That couple day period may be especially busy, and you may make significant progress on writing, learning, or speaking related work. This cazimi may also mark a peak period for social activity or travel too, even if that means just exploring a new area of your city or taking a quick day trip away.
Then on June 1, Venus meets up with Chiron in Aries. There may be an insecurity or feelings of self doubt that you need to face in a relationship or within yourself on this day. You may also be working to heal past hurts you have surrounding dating, relationships, or friendships, or you’re overcoming insecurities related to your own creativity and self expression. A few days later, Venus leaves Aries and moves into Taurus on June 6 until July 4. Venus is much happier in Taurus, as it is one of the signs it rules, and Venusian topics like relationships, creativity, style, and finances may be easier to navigate during this time. You may have a growing interest in areas like cooking, crafts, interior decorating, or being more immersed in nature.
The next big transition period of this month will shortly follow. On June 8, Mercury and Jupiter meet up at the final degree of Gemini, before Mercury moves into Cancer late on June 8, followed by Jupiter moving into Cancer on June 9. So there’s this noticeable shift you feel around this time to being more out and about and social to suddenly wanting to stick closer to home or focus on the relationships that feel most nurturing to you. Mercury will be in Cancer just until June 26, but Jupiter will be in this sign for a little over a year, until June 30, 2026. Take note of the Cancer ruled house in your chart and see how greater growth, education, and opportunities pop up in this area of your life over the next year. Jupiter is in its sign of exaltation in Cancer, so it can perform to the best of its abilities to bring about positive results in this area of your chart.
The next lunation of the month will be a full moon in Sagittarius on June 11, which will take place at 20 degrees of this sign. This full moon will be the peak activity period out of the month, as you see projects, relationships, opportunities, etc fully come together and reach a pivotal turning point. You may also be seeking greater connection with people around this time, and again the themes of learning and travel will resurface, but in a slightly different way. You may be drawn to learning about spirituality, foreign cultures, or your bigger purpose in life rather than obsessing over everyday communication or smaller details. The ruling planet of this full moon is Jupiter, so this full moon will really amplify how Jupiter has just entered this new sign of Cancer and will have you fully realizing what this transit will be about for you over the next year.
And then to wrap up Gemini season, we have Mars moving out of Leo and into Virgo on June 17. Before it departs Leo though, it will square Uranus in Taurus on June 15, so you may notice unexpected change coming up or a desire to break free of something that feels limiting to find greater freedom and independence for yourself around the middle of June. As Mars moves into Virgo from June 17 - August 6, you may notice that you’re shifting back to work mode, and you may start to feel more productive in your daily routine. In addition, you might be more health conscious and want to take exercise or nutritious eating more seriously.
Okay, let’s now get into what all of these transits mean for each rising sign…
