This Leo eclipse will be exactly conjunct my chart ruler, Jupiter, and I just got engaged last week with the Jupiter cazimi on my sun! 🌞❤️

I love that!! Huge congratulations!

Alice, can I ask your opinion on wedding dates? 🥰 we have 5 June in mind. We're both Sagittarius risings so the new moon will be in 7th house, and it will also be my Jupiter return in 9th house (we're from Ireland and Italy so it will be international wedding!). Or we could wait for the 4 Sept when Jupiter will be over my natal venus in Virgo. The moon will be in Scorpio 12th house then though...

Alice Bell's avatar

I like June better with the fire and air energy for a social event! Plus, Mars is in Virgo at that time so your Venus is still getting activated. But if you do go with September, don’t see the 12th house moon being a problem, it’s more about the new or full moon that occurs before the wedding date that is a bigger deal. I got married under a 12th house moon and it was still super fun and social, because an 11th house new moon had just taken place a few days before.

Thanks Alice 🥰

That partial lunar eclipse in Pisces will be happening on the exact degree of my ascendant. I also have my Chiron on the descendant in Virgo at 4 degrees - I am quite curious how this last eclipse is playing out since the last 18 months felt super internal when it comes to shifts and changes in regards to relationships and connections. 🦋

Keep us posted!!

With Leo rising @ 21 degrees and a stellium in Pisces (moon/venus @ 10, mercury/saturn at 28), it's been a busy series of eclipses for me.

Alice Bell's avatar

We’ve got a very similar chart ahaha

I think many people say to themselves "I like surprises!" and then learn they needed to be more specific. :)

This was so helpful to help me prepare for what’s to come! Scorpio Rising with my MC at 26 degrees in Leo (10th house) and my North Node is at 14 degrees in Pisces (5th house). We will see where the next few years take me!

Sebrin Von Muellner's avatar

I’m Libra rising with Leo in my 11th and Aquarius in my 5th experiencing my nodal return!

I also like to watch out when the eclipse ruler activates the LoY!!

Love this article, Alice! I also referred back to your article on annual profections since my planetary lord of the year is the moon (in the 12th house lol ugh I just got out of Jupiter in my 12th and I want to be done with 12th house themes!) I’m assuming I’ll feel the lunar eclipses extra strong this year, maybe also having more change around those times? I was having a hard time pinning down when I would feel moon transits the most since the moon changes signs so frequently. I am currently in a Uranus moon opposition though, so maybe it’s just paying more attention to the bigger aspects to my moon this year. My husband and I are trying to conceive and this maybe feels hopeful in that area?!

Jess Yepiz Cook's avatar

Oh I’m now seeing the above comment! lol

Alice Bell's avatar

wonder if you'll end up conceiving with the Leo Jupiter transit through your first house and then end up giving birth when you enter the 1st house profection year at your next bday. that would make a lot of sense!

Jess Yepiz Cook's avatar

That does make a ton of sense! I was wondering if this Leo Jupiter 1st house transit would bring about conception - it’s also my Jupiter return so the energy feels strong here! Will report back in the next year lol

Alice Bell's avatar

Also your 5th house is ruled by Jupiter so automatically 5th house topics like pregnancy would come up a lot at your Jupiter return

Jess Yepiz Cook's avatar

And my moon is in the 5th house too 🤯 I’m absolutely loving this! Thanks for the deeper insight, Alice. Your astrology of conception/pregnancy content has also been so awesome for me at this time

Thank you for such a great resource. My sun is currently my time lord and I’m in an 11th house perfection year, which is ruled by Leo but no natal planets in Leo (my natal sun is 10 degrees Aquarius) Will the Leo eclipse have more of an impact than it otherwise would?

Alice Bell's avatar

Yes because the sun is involved! Eclipses way bigger deal when you’re in a sun or moon ruled profection year

My Leo sun (9 degrees) will mean I have a solar eclipse on my birthday! My Leo asc (14 degrees) isn’t far off it either. Very curious, albeit a little nervous, what this means. How does a solar return chart unfold with a total solar eclipse? Has anyone had this?

Alice Bell's avatar

Omg we have same degree Leo ascendant! And I would expect your next birthday to kick off a big year for change especially having to do with 1st house themes. Honestly both of these eclipse time periods are big for you though, because this upcoming Pisces eclipse is ruled by Jupiter which will be at 13 degrees of Leo at the time of that eclipse

My north node and midheaven are both in Pisces 10th house (Gemini rising) but I honestly haven’t felt or seen any changes related to my career at all. Am I misinterpreting what the past few years have meant alongside eclipses when it comes to the house(s), or is there something deeper I should be reviewing when it comes to the sign, for example?

Alice Bell's avatar

Even if you don’t experience a literal job change under 10th house / Midheaven eclipses - sometimes it can be that you’re figuring out like what direction you want to be in next, what goals are important to you, is there a specific niche within your line of work that you want to explore further. Or you may have felt more so the effects of the home and family changes. These Pisces eclipses were trickier to interpret because Saturn was co-present there for a lot of the time, slowing things down. But still see what comes up in the weeks following this final August 28 one!

Thank you!! Yes, a lot of reflection has been happening!

My sun is in Leo at exactly 20 degrees (9th house), the eclipse is happening literally within an hour of my solar return. I'm already feeling the effects, my 2025 solar return chart did scare me a bit and it has turned out to be such a challenging year. My 2026 chart looks pretty interesting too. My life is changing so much, plus I'll be 50 this year! I've also just noticed that the total solar eclipse next Aug is 1 degree away from my saturn - shall I laugh or cry lol! Also have a pisces moon at 20 degrees so not sure if that eclipse will impact me as much. Any thoughts appreciated ◡̈

Alice Bell's avatar

The first Pisces eclipse back in 2024 would have been most impactful for your moon, think that one was at 22 Pisces!

Anne Kiersky's avatar

Interesting! The lunar eclipse in Pisces is happening in the same house as my DC and Saturn (I’ve already finished my Saturn return). But in terms of degrees, the closest alignment is a trine within 1 degree to my Scorpio Jupiter in the third house. Can that have much significance with a lunar eclipse?

Alice Bell's avatar

No I don’t really prioritize trines or sextiles, just the oppositions, squares, and conjunctions. Scorpio Jupiter would more so be affected by Jupiter squaring it from Leo right now.

Anne Kiersky's avatar

Got it, thanks for explaining!

Fran's avatar

Amazing Alice! Question for you - how close does a node have to be to a planet to be considered close? I.e I’m a Leo moon at 28degrees, would that be considered close for this Leo eclipse at 20? And what does it mean the node is having an out of sign conjunction to your planet? I.e 1st degree Virgo node vs 28 degree Leo placement? Thank you!!

Alice Bell's avatar

For your moon I would honestly look back at the Aquarius eclipse that happened this past February since that was I think right at 28 Aquarius exactly opposite to your Leo moon! And out of sign conjunctions I place less importance on, but the 1 degree Virgo lunar eclipse happening in Feb 2027 would be a big deal for your Virgo node - much more relevant than this Leo eclipse!
