How Synastry and Relationship Timing Work Hand in Hand

Plus, some other relationship astrology observations I’ve noticed recently

During my 7th house Saturn return a few years ago, I wrote an entire book on the astrology of relationship patterns, synastry, and relationship timing. Since then, I’ve been kind of done with this topic, like I had exhausted all I wanted to say on the astrology of relationships for the time being. However, what I love most about astrology is that you’re never truly done learning, and there’s always new information to add to your encyclopedia about how different transits, birth chart placements, etc, play out. And with the North Node now transiting my 7th house, I’ve been brought back to the topic of relationships, and I’ve ended up recording two podcast episodes in the past month with other astrologers where synastry came up as a theme in our conversations.

In addition, through trying to guess what my child’s chart might be, I’ve naturally been thinking about the complexities of a synastry chart and how my child’s birth chart will align in different ways with both my chart and my husband’s. To me, synastry has never really been about being “compatible” with someone, as you are naturally drawn to people with whom you share similar signs, it’s not something you need to seek out. Or in the case of having a child, your child’s chart will automatically align with your own in similar ways, and you really have no control here! I also view synastry as something that needs to go hand in hand with relationship timing for both people in order for a relationship to work in the long term. I wanted to expand upon these various topics a bit further, so below I’ve compiled some further relationship astrology observations that have come to me over the past couple of years.
