March is going to be interesting for me... Lunar eclipse conjunct Chiron in my 12th house. Then the Solar eclipse will be conjunct my descendent 7th house. All while my chart ruler Venus is rx, trying to stay positive haha!

Thank you for showing us this feature on Astro-seek!

Hey Alice 😊 I am no longer getting your newsletters emailed to me — are they no longer being issued by email? Otherwise, I might have fallen off the list x

They should be! Maybe reach out to substack support and tell them you’re having this problem. I’ll also ask on my end!

Thank you for this detail, Alice! So helpful and I love your book! Was just looking at my 2025 moons and have so many instances of 0 degrees conjunct. The March 13th Virgo Lunar Eclipse will conjunct Venus (0 degrees) in my 1st house/Virgo, the May 12th Full Moon is conjunct my North Node (0 degrees) in my third house/Scorpio, the July 24th New Moon is conjunct Saturn (0 degrees) in my 12th house/Leo, and November 19th New Moon in Scorpio is conjunct my IC (0 degrees) in my 3rd house/Scorpio. What are your thoughts on so many. Does this hint at a bigger year for me? Any themes that I can expect based on this?

you would look at the themes of the planets and angles affected and know that those themes will be bigger this year! Also check to see the houses the planets rule - so for Venus, checking Libra and Taurus houses too for extra themes

I have a question regarding your first recommendation before checking our own 2025 calendar. I was born in Colombia but live in Australia. I have always left the cities to reflect the reality as the position of each country is so different and can vary the planets degrees a lot. So when calculating mine do i left them as it is or do I use my current city as a birth city?

What effects would you expect from a full moon conjunct both my mars and chiron?

Expand full comment
Alice Bell's avatar

you apply the themes of a full moon so bigger realizations, release, or greater activity with the themes of Mars and Chiron. Also check the other houses ruled by Mars - Scorpio and Aries, because those house topics will be relevant too!

What is the “node” symbol on this Astro seek chart? On July 24th I have a new moon in Leo my rising sign, in my 1st house, 0 degrees Venus and 0 degrees “node.”

Alice Bell's avatar

Do you have your natal North or South node in Leo?

Expand full comment
Kddub's avatar

Looks like the south node, it’s an upside down horseshoe!

So it’s saying that new moon in Leo will be conjunct both your Venus in Leo and your south node in Leo exactly since it’s 0 degrees orb.

Hello! What does it mean if you have lots of new/full moons conjunct natal plants in a year? I.e is it normal to have your sun, moon, rising, MC etc all to have moons conjunct them? Thanks!

Expand full comment
Alice Bell's avatar

Means it’s a way bigger year for you! You will have to report back in a few months with updates!

It seems fair to say that the lunation chart also ties into prediction work. For instance, if the SR chart shows a significant year, this lunation overview is a quick way to zoom in on when more of the significant events will take place. Is that accurate?

Yes! and you can also combine with longer transits like if you have Jupiter transiting your 10th and then the new moon also on the Midheaven, or Sun, or ascendant, etc then that would be a specific month to watch out of that year for career attention.

Thanks, this is a helpful post! However, I don’t follow the Jan 29 calculations. Based on the example, Sun: 9-3 =6 , and Mercury 9-2=7. What am I missing?

Expand full comment
Alice Bell's avatar

Yeah my sun is at 6 and mercury is at 7, the table is showing the degrees away from these placements, not the degrees of the natal placements
