How to Book a Reading with Me

My readings are finally back!

The above is what I’m looking at when I’m giving a reading. I’m interpreting what the various symbols mean in the chart for you.

After taking a year off from doing readings to focus mainly on writing, I have decided to open my books again! I didn’t anticipate announcing this this week, but on Sunday morning I woke up and thought to myself “I need to open readings right now.” Such a literal Mercury retrograde in my 10th house - returning to something career related from the past. Keep reading to find out how and when you can book an astrology session with me. 

When can I purchase a reading? 

I will be opening slots for readings at 1pm EST on Sunday, April 30. The times I will have available for readings are 4pm and 6pm EST on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday starting next week (week of May 1) and lasting through May 25. After that, I am traveling to Italy to host my astrology retreat and then on to London for the launch of my book, so I won’t resume readings again until end of June/early July. 

Where do I book a reading?

At 1pm EST on Sunday, the below link will work. If you click on it even a minute before 1pm, it will not be an active link, so don’t panic if you think there’s been some type of glitch.

How long are the readings? 

I have changed my readings from being 30 minutes to now being 45 minutes, so that you don’t feel rushed. 45 minutes is a ton of time, and it allows us to cover several different topics. 

What are my readings like?

All readings are held over Google Meet. When you book the session, you should receive a calendar invite with the link to the Google Meet in it. 

My readings are also mostly predictive, meaning I’m talking to you about what’s to come over the next few months and even years, as well as helping you to understand what phase of life you’re currently in now. I typically look at several different charts during the reading - transits, solar returns, lunar returns, and secondary progressions. If you have specific questions about your birth chart, or have questions regarding astrocartography, synastry, or annual profections, you can certainly ask those as well.

I use ancient astrology techniques, so whole sign houses and traditional rulerships. If you’re used to viewing your chart in Placidus, this may be a bit different for you. 

In addition, there is nothing to be scared of with these readings. I’m not predicting death or breakups or whatever you might be anxious about. All I see is the potential of what is to come and the energy surrounding specific points in time. You have the free will to decide how it’s going to go for you. But please come in with an open mind, because you truly have no idea what your life will look like even 6 months from now, so I don’t want you to be closed off to different possibilities. 

Do I need to prepare anything?

It helps if you come with areas you want to focus on. Examples of this might be “when am I going to change jobs or get a promotion?” Or “When might I have more dating going on or feel closer to my partner?” It’s not really helpful if you come in and just say “tell me what you see.” I’m not a psychic, so keep in mind that this is a collaborative conversation between the two of us.

Come prepared to take notes and jot down important dates too. You also have the option to ask me to record the session, which I can later send to you. 

What if I don’t get a reading?

I have added a new waitlist feature on my website under the “Work With Me” tab. You can scroll down to where it says “Book a Reading” and underneath that you will see a spot where you can click “join the waitlist.” Putting the link here too: https://www.alicebellastrology.com/work-with-me

You will then fill out a form with your email and other info. When I resume readings in the summer, I will go down the waitlist and reach out to people from there, starting at the top. That way you can avoid the mad rush to secure a spot in the future. If you’re no longer wanting a reading with me when I get to your spot, you can always pass on it.
