This newsletter gave me a renewed sense of hope for my Jupiter return in a couple of years. It will also be my profection ruler that year so fingers crossed that good things come from that! But as an Aries rising with a Capricorn Midheaven and Saturn in Aquarius natally, I can speak to the Saturn return being more significant during that two year period. I made a pretty significant career move that set me on a new path professionally and I experienced changes in friendships with several friends moving out of state. I also have Venus in Aries, so last year’s extended retrograde resulted in a significant decision regarding a romantic relationship at the time.
Yes I am! I was born in early February of 93. So it will be a 12th house profection year (which I don’t love) but I really loved having transiting Jupiter angular when I was in a 9th house/Sag year last year. So still looking forward to it!
Omg I’m a late January ‘93 bday! So close! Halfway through the return in 2029 it will shift to a 1st house profection so that will be when things get good!
It’s just my specific chart set up that makes me slightly nervous about how it will play out. I’ve had a lot of 12th house transit these last few years that have been challenging, but at the same time, I’m really glad they happened. I learned so much about myself and have grown a lot, and I’ll taking those lessons into my next chapter. But not to worry! Especially if your Mercury is well placed.
What a timely article I was just looking at your page for info on planet returns!!! Abt to have my Jupiter in Leo return and mars in Gemini return ! Excited to see what these changes bring. Also having nodal returns too (in Aquarius/leo) so will be interesting. Lots of 8th house activations
Ahh amazing will defo listen!! Also I forget where you mentioned it but you said people with Jupiter in Leo tend to have older friends and It could not be more true for me, my college best friends are all 2 years older! V interesting
This was so useful! Thank you! I am having my Jupiter return today (2degrees!) and had a Mars return earlier this year (29 Aries). With a Virgo rising what you said about retrogrades made so much sense.
I have mars in gemini at 4 degrees, jupiter in leo at 4 degrees and venus in virgo at 2 degrees - back to back returns over here haha. And my mercury return isn't that far away either. So this is especially interesting and informative for me. I love learning from you!!
And what you said about the excitement of tracking your daughter's first returns made me emotional 🥹 just thinking about how much both of you will cherish being able to look back at that. This mercury retrograde in cancer is getting to me lol
Thank you for this great article! So many interesting informations on how to interpret planetary returns, a topic that has been on my mind for a while now, since I'm experiencing my Jupiter Return with Jupiter in Leo. I have been wondering though: would you also interpret the return chart, as you do with lunar and solar returns? Could I cast my Jupiter Return Chart an get insights into the next 12 year Jupiter Cycle?
Thank you so much for your work and sharing your astrological wisdom with us, Alice! It is highly appreciated!
I love that you and your child will have the same Jupiter sign.
I've noticed many friends who have had children (myself included) had Jupiter in their 1st house during birth. I dont hear about this aspect with children often, but it's been on my mind a lot!
My husband and child will have same Jupiter sign! She will have Jupiter on my ascendant though, super common because the mother is going through a major personal life event and shift in identity, marked by that Jupiter transit to the 1st house.

The stars do not shout, yet they have commanded human attention for millennia.
As a Virgo rising the career transits have only just begun, with eclipses now starting up in your 6th house and Uranus entering your 10th.
