Apologies for this month’s discussion newsletter being a bit delayed! I have been traveling internationally over the past few days for the astrology retreat in Italy I’m hosting, so I have been trying to squeeze in some time to write. After doing the past couple of monthly discussions on timing techniques, we are changing things up and doing a birth chart topic this time.

Today I’m explaining a technique that helps you to better interpret specific houses of your birth chart, so you can understand how the themes of certain houses influence each other and are tied together. Like always with these monthly discussions, I will first give a breakdown of the topic, and then please share your thoughts in the comments if you have good examples of what I’ve explained. I love reading through everyone’s stories and seeing how astrology plays out for you.

Let’s back things up a bit, because before we can go any further into today’s topic you need to first be familiar with what signs rule all of the houses of your chart. In whole sign houses, one sign rules one house. So when you’re looking at your birth chart, you will see the signs on the border of your chart, like in the image below. Your rising sign is the sign that rules house 1, and then the sign that follows in zodiacal order rules house 2, and so on. If you need a place to pull up your chart to see this easily, I recommend using the app called CHANI to do so.
