Scorpio Season Monthly Forecast
Sun in Scorpio, lunar eclipse in Taurus, Venus opposite Neptune, Saturn stations direct in Pisces, Venus into Libra, Mercury into Sagittarius, new moon in Scorpio, sun-Mars cazimi in Scorpio
Happy Scorpio season, and welcome back to your monthly forecast! I don’t know about you, but this time period surrounding the two eclipses has been brutal, so I’m hoping for better vibes headed into the next month. Like usual, I will first be giving an overview of the transits that are occurring over the next month, and then we will get into what all of that means for your specific rising sign. You can think of this newsletter as a personal mini reading that you can refer back to in the weeks to come.
The main transit happening over the next four weeks is that the Sun is moving through Scorpio from October 23 - November 22. It will be joining Mercury and Mars there too, so there is a ton of Scorpio emphasis going on at the moment. Scorpio themes that might be surfacing at this time could be wanting to go deeper in your relationships or having a greater interest in psychology, self improvement, and overall wanting to better understand yourself and other people. With Scorpio, you’re quickly moving past any superficial, surface level stuff so that you can understand who someone really is. You may also find yourself struggling with themes of control, as you realize that there is only so much in your life that you actually do have control over. You could also be more interested in talking about topics pertaining to sexuality, mental health, or grief and death.
The first major event that will take place is the lunar eclipse in Taurus on October 28. It is taking place at 5 degrees of Taurus, so anyone with an April Taurus birthday or an October Scorpio birthday, or other Taurus or Scorpio placements between 0-10 degrees of these two signs will likely feel the impact of this lunar eclipse the most. This eclipse is the final one in the Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle that has been going on since November 2021, so you’re seeing how far you’ve come and how much has changed in the Taurus ruled house of your chart since that time. Lunar eclipses are like super charged full moons, so expect a flurry of activity to take place right at the end of October. You may also see change or visible results occur in an area of your life, or you’re making powerful realizations about what’s next for you.
Right after the lunar eclipse goes exact, the moon will quickly move on to conjoin Jupiter and oppose Mars and Mercury. So there might be an underlying theme of wanting more freedom and independence in the Taurus/Scorpio houses of your chart, for you’re cutting tied with whatever is holding you back. You may also have way more energy and be extra motivated to tackle whatever work or challenges arise. On the other hand, you might be quick to react to people, or your emotions could come on super strongly. You may want to be extra careful of the way your words are coming across around this time.
Throughout November 3 and 4, Venus in Virgo will oppose Neptune in Pisces. You may experience some confusion surrounding a romantic relationship, a friendship situation or your personal finances. You could be spending a lot without tracking where your money is going, or maybe there’s a disappointing situation surrounding a person you’re dating for example.
November 4 is also the day that Saturn ends its almost five month long retrograde in Pisces. While Saturn has been retrograde since the middle of June, you may have felt a slowing down in the Pisces ruled house of your chart, or you’ve been doing a lot of internal reflection on how to best structure that area of your life. Now that Saturn will be direct again, you could again be moving forward with new plans in that Pisces house, or you’re feeling the weight of your responsibilities and more work coming from that area.
On November 8, Venus moves into Libra for about a month until December 4. The Libra ruled house of your chart was under a ton of tension throughout September and early October, with the solar eclipse and Mars transit taking place there. Whatever was causing you frustration in that area may now feel much more calm and easygoing, or you’re reaping the rewards. Venus also thrives in Libra, the sign it rules, so establishing new relationships might be easier, or you could be called to focus on your personal style, the decorations around your home, or your overall aesthetic.
A couple of days later on November 10, Mercury moves into Sagittarius and will remain there until December 1. You might be thinking about bigger picture topics, like your spiritual beliefs or what the deeper meaning and purpose of your life is. You could also be looking at situations optimistically, seeing any challenges with more of a glass half full mentality. On another note, you may be getting more interested in reading and research, and you could be especially interested in topics like astrology, politics, or foreign cultures.
Finally, we wrap up the month with a new moon in Scorpio on November 13, followed by a Sun-Mars cazimi in Scorpio on November 18. The new moon will serve to intensify the Scorpio house themes that have already been activated in the weeks leading up to this. This might be when you’re actually noticing opportunities or new habits beginning to form in that Scorpio ruled house of your chart. This new moon will be exactly opposite to Uranus, so you may experience some welcome changes in that area as well, or unexpected shakeups could occur. Meanwhile, the Sun-Mars cazimi will mark the start of a brand new cycle between these two planets that will continue to unfold over the next two years until the next Sun-Mars conjunction. So not only are those Scorpio ruled house themes important this month, but you will see how that area unfolds over an even longer, extended period of time.
Now, let’s get into what all of this means for your rising sign specifically….
