The Astrology of Pregnancy
Astrology that speaks to the timing of pregnancy, birth, and the major identity shift that comes with parenthood!
In case you missed it last week, I announced that I’m pregnant! I am having a baby girl and she is due this Virgo season amidst the eclipses. I am currently halfway through the pregnancy with 20 weeks down, 20 more to go, and it’s been so hard not to share about this for the past few months, especially given how accurate the astrology has been for this major life change!
A lot of you have voiced how interested you are in the topic of using astrology to better understand the timing of pregnancy, so that’s what I’ll be getting into today. Below is a guide I’ve put together of what transits often point to having children. We’ll be getting into astrology that speaks to periods for conception and giving birth, timing nausea and other illness throughout pregnancy, when pregnancy may be more difficult, and also the major identity shift that comes from becoming a parent. In addition to transits, I’ve also added some information to look at in a solar return chart and with the secondary progressed moon too.
This is a niche of astrology I’ve been researching for the last four years, but I decided to wait until I got pregnant myself to speak on it, since I wanted to better understand and have first hand experience of all the nuances and bodily changes that come with being pregnant. Now that I’m in it, I’ve realized I knew very little before about how hard pregnancy actually is, so I’m glad I held off until now. Also, I know this is a sensitive topic, and astrology doesn’t take the place of medical advice when trying to conceive or when pregnant. Instead, I view it as a helpful supplement to understand the timing of your life and when something major like this may take place for you. Tracking the transits to my chart also helped me immensely when I was in the first trimester trenches, wondering when I was ever going to feel like myself again. I’m also excited to continue researching this topic further in order to more fully understand the many variations pregnancy and trying to conceive can take.
Below is the podcast episode I put out today on my own experience getting pregnant, why I chose to have a child when I did, and what I’ve gone through the past few months of my pregnancy. This episode speaks more to my personal journey, while what we get into below is a more straightforward, detailed guide.
Stay tuned for further information on the live workshop I’ll be hosting on this same topic on Sunday, April 19. I’ll send out another email about this in the next few days. The workshop will be super helpful, because it will give other people the opportunity to share about their different experiences they’ve had with pregnancy, as well as what you may have witnessed with friends or family members who have had kids. We’ll also get into even more chart examples in this workshop.
Okay, let’s now get into the astrology of pregnancy. Get comfortable, because this is about to be a long one!
