Now that Jupiter is in Gemini, my 11th house, something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently is friendship. Throughout my 20s and early 30s (I’m currently 31), I’ve placed so much importance on getting ahead in my career and making more money, but at my wedding, where I was surrounded by so many friends and people I love, I realized that the times when I’m social and feel connected to others are the best moments of my life. Those are the times that I look back on and get nostalgic about years down the line. 

A lot of you probably feel the same, so I wanted to show you how to identify specific years or months when greater social activity will pop up. This can be especially helpful if you are currently going through an isolating time and want to know when things will look up again. And to contrast, I will also be touching upon years when friendship breakups might be common or when you may encounter stress with a friend, because those moments can often be more difficult than ending a romantic relationship. 

Before we go over the following information, I encourage you to first reflect back on the most fun years you’ve had in recent history. When I thought back to the best times socially I had over the last 15+ years, I came up with these periods: the first half of 2007, all of 2010 and the first half of 2011, end of 2016, end of 2018 into early 2019, and second half of 2022, I noticed that these time frames all have one thing in common astrologically…
