Last week, a new moon in Cancer happened in conjunction with Jupiter. That meant that Jupiter’s transit of the Cancer ruled house of your chart, which started on June 9, 2025 and goes until June 30, 2026 was extra amplified. The new moon last week essentially shed light on what that longer transit is really going to be about. We’ve been talking in the new group chat about what has been coming up for us with this transit, but today I want to elaborate a bit more here and explore how to recognize when any type of transit will be felt in more of an impactful way.
Transits are my primary, go-to prediction technique. However, they can get confusing, as there are a lot of moving parts to consider at once - 10 planets, which all make various aspects to each other and move through 12 different houses of your chart. Especially this year, as there are so many planets changing signs, I want to walk you through when you should take note of certain transits and how to time when you may feel these more intensely. Hopefully, this will help you to understand which transits you should be zeroing in on at the moment.
To look at transits to your own chart, Astro-Seek is my favorite free resource. You can pull up your own transit chart here, and make sure to play around with advancing the transits forwards and backwards in time (on the right sidebar once you pull up the chart).
Let’s now get into a few exercises that will help you prioritize certain transits.
