What's Meant for You Won't Miss You
Plus, what the recent Saturn-Neptune conjunction means
I recently had someone message me saying that they were hesitant to read my monthly horoscopes, because it reminded them of everything that they were procrastinating and avoiding. I reminded them that that is not how astrology works - it’s not about forcing yourself to do things just because a forecast or a weekly horoscope says so. Astrology simply reflects what you’re already intuitively feeling, so when transits come along to your chart they will naturally show that. If you’re not feeling called to take initiative on something in a specific moment, it’s not because you’re not trying hard enough, it’s simply because it’s not meant to happen at that moment in time.
I believe a lot of life is more fated than we realize, and that everything unfolds in your life at very specific moments, which is what astrological timing is so helpful in showing us. There is nothing you can do to change this timeline, which has honestly brought me a lot of peace. For instance, you can try as hard as you can to figure out what to do next in your career and beat yourself up for not knowing, but maybe step back and accept that you’re not meant to know the answer right now. Instead, it could be a moment of learning new skills and developing new hobbies and interests, but it’s not really the time to get ahead at work. The same could go for a major life event like getting pregnant or moving to a new city - you won’t feel ready to take that next life step until the timing is there to back it up. Change will come to you when it’s meant to.
Think back to past moments in your life when something you wanted to have happen didn’t work out at the exact moment you wanted it to, but then months or maybe years later you eventually ended up in the right place, which ended up being a way better fit. This was definitely me when I wanted to be a in a relationship for years, but nothing worked out when I thought it should. It also happened when I first wanted to write a book and initial plans for that fell through, but then a better publishing opportunity ended up happening a couple of years later. You can’t force the timeline of your life, but rather you have to get comfortable flowing with it.
Saturn + Neptune
To tie back in with this theme of feeling uncertain about a particular situation, but accepting where you are in this moment in time, I want to talk about the current transits of Saturn and Neptune. These two planets recently met up at 0 degrees of Aries on February 20.
First, to review:
Saturn is a planet that…
is all about responsibility
Loves a game plan and a set structure
Needs to know where things are headed in the long term.
Appreciates boundaries
Follows tradition and what has been proven to work
Neptune is a planet that…
Completely dissolves existing boundaries
Leans into intuition rather than rules or structure
Can feel confusing at times, hard to get a read on the long term future
Is tuned into the arts, music, and creativity
As you can see, these planets are complete opposites, but they’ve come together this month for the first time since 1989. A new cycle that only takes place every 36 years is a big deal! This conjunction has implications for both world events and your own individual chart.
When you combine the energies of Saturn and Neptune you get:
The dissolving of existing structures that you thought you could count on
Uncertainty surrounding work, responsibility, leadership
May feel difficult to plan far out, especially when you’re unsure of what even the next month could hold
A lot of what used to be the norm can’t be trusted anymore
A breaking down of tradition before a rebuilding process of something brand new can take place
In order to show where we are within this cycle of Saturn and Neptune, here is a timeline of what’s been happening.
As you can see, we are about halfway into this 5 year cycle of Saturn and Neptune being co-present in the same sign, making all of the above themes I went over extra relevant during this time. Now that the exact conjunction has been reached as of February 20, Saturn will move on and find some distance away from Neptune for the rest of 2026. These two planets will continue to grow further apart into 2027 as well, before fully separating into two different signs in April 2028. Therefore, the peak of these planetary energies is fading. You may have already seen how certain mindsets or situations have dissolved over the past couple of years in your own life, but also how you may have been facing confusion with long term direction, career goals, and what you even want to be doing next in your life. Now it’s time to find a new path forward over the coming months and into the next couple of years. The uncertainty that the Saturn-Neptune conjunction has brought will start to lift as we get further into 2026.
To see how Saturn and Neptune’s energies are playing out in your own chart, you will want to check the houses ruled by Pisces and Aries.

These two houses are likely where you’ve felt the most instability over the last couple of years, or maybe it’s been difficult to pinpoint exactly what you want in these areas of your life. Especially in the house ruled by Aries, since this is exactly where the conjunction took place last week, it may have felt like something needs to end here first in order for a new way forward to present itself. As I was saying at the start of this newsletter, if you don’t have all of the answers yet that’s okay. Try to follow your intuition and get creative (Neptune) on what new commitments or structures (Saturn) are interesting to you in this area at the moment. Concrete change likely won’t occur here yet, but as the weeks go on, you will start to get a better idea of how you want to approach this area of your life differently. For instance, with water sign risings, that might be with career and work-life balance, while for air sign risings, these themes may be presenting themselves in your relationships.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve started to feel a shift in the Pisces or Aries ruled house of your chart recently!

Libra rising, Pisces 6th house: definitely feeling more concrete energy with plans at day to day work and my health and what feels good/needed. Aries 7th house: still looking for and need clarity in finding my partner/right person and connection for me!!
This was the reassurance I needed today, thanks Alice!
As a Virgo rising, I’m going through a lot of personal transformation this year, ending my 15 year relationship- splitting assets and feeling emotionally free. Also being on my own for the first time ever as an adult, I feel like the astrology is quite literal these days, and it’s reassuring to know that these decisions didn’t feel right before because it just wasn’t the right timing
