I haven’t talked about secondary progressions since the very early days of this newsletter in 2023, so I figured it was time to revisit this topic and go a bit deeper. Also, as a writing tip, I find that during Mercury retrograde periods it’s often helpful to revisit past subjects or concepts and flesh them out more fully, rather than introducing something completely new. So welcome to your revised, more complete guide to the secondary progressed moon!

In this newsletter, we will discuss what progressions are and why the secondary progressed moon specifically is super important to track through the signs and houses of your chart. We will also go over when the progressed moon makes aspects to other planets, and then review the phases the progressed moon makes over a thirty year period in your life.

Inspiration for this guide to the progressed moon came while I was recording the below podcast episode with my friend and fellow astrologer, Seth of The Stargayzer. In this episode, which just came out today, we touched upon why the progressed lunar return is so important, and what we’ve noticed with our own progressed moons changing signs. So you can always listen to or watch that episode for further insight.
