Welcome to the first ever edition of Your Monthly Forecast, only available to read in full for paid subscribers. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up, your support means the world to me! This month we will be getting into all of the transits that are occurring throughout this Aries season, from March 21 - April 19. First, I’m giving an overview of the various planetary movements, then you can read on for what all of the transits mean for your chart specifically. If your rising sign falls between Libra - Pisces, you will probably have to click on “view entire message” at the bottom of the email to see yours. I will switch up what rising signs come first in the coming forecast emails, so the same people don’t always have to do that.
What makes this Aries season so unique is that there will be three lunations taking place. First, there’s the new moon in Aries, which took place yesterday, then a full moon in Libra in early April, and finally a solar eclipse on the last day of Aries season. In addition to the sun, Mercury is moving through Aries until April 3, so the Aries ruled house of your chart is getting very emphasized this month. The overall vibe for Aries season should be fairly pleasant, especially after the recent chaos and confusion of Pisces season. This is mainly because we have both the sun and Mercury building up to a conjunction with Jupiter in Aries over the next few weeks. At the same time, we are kicking off Aries season with Venus moving through Taurus, a sign it rules and can fully thrive in. Therefore, you can expect to have more energy, optimism, and an eagerness to grow, learn, and connect with people as we head into the end of March and early April.
The new moon in Aries that happened on March 21 was at 0 degrees of Aries. 0 degrees of any cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) is important to take note of, because it is what we call the “Aries point” in astrology, meaning planets placed there have more visibility and recognition. Therefore, whatever goals or intentions you decide to set at this moon in Aries will have the potential to be long lasting, or you could feel very motivated to put out into the world whatever you’ve been working on. You won’t be so scared to be seen. This new moon is also foreshadowing themes that will be at the forefront of your attention for the next two years as well, since the eclipses are shifting to Aries/Libra from 2023-2025.
I also want to touch on a major astrological event that took place earlier in March, which is that Saturn moved into Pisces on March 7 until February 2026. Typically when Saturn first moves into a new sign, and therefore house of your chart, there is some initial stress in that area of your life. It feels uncomfortable at first, like you know you need to make changes in an area, but you don’t really know how to do that just yet. Be patient with yourself in that Pisces ruled house of your chart right now. Saturn takes time, and you have 3 years ahead of you to master a particular set of themes.
Another notable shift to anticipate this Aries season is that Pluto is moving into Aquarius on March 23. Though it will retrograde back into Capricorn by July, Pluto will fully return to Aquarius in 2024 all the way through 2043. Pluto transits tend to be a bit more subtle, so you may not notice it at first. Keep in mind that this Pluto transit represents changes and transformation that will unfold over the next two decades for you.
In addition, Mars moves into Cancer on March 25, after spending the last 7 months in Gemini. This marks the end of an era that has been going on for you since August 20. Any frustration you’ve experienced with that Gemini ruled house of your chart will be lifting as Mars finally departs. However, Cancer is not a sign that Mars particularly feels comfortable in either. There may be more emotional outbursts, or you could have to address feelings you usually sweep under the rug. You may want to put energy into home or family related activities as well, or you might be addressing conflict in your home life.
As we get into the second half of Aries season, Mercury will move into Taurus on April 3. This is great for feeling more mentally grounded and focused, or you could be interested in discussing or researching Taurean like topics, such as design, art, fashion, cooking, nature, or finances.
The most activity for the month will occur at the full moon in Libra on April 5. During this full moon, the sun will be exactly conjunct Chiron in Aries, so deep, inner healing could take place for you, or you may have to address emotions that feel a bit painful. You may want to share your vulnerabilities with other people though in order to foster deeper connections, and you might be reflecting on how you can be a better partner or communicate more effectively with others.
On April 11, Venus moves into Gemini, a very social sign. You might be meeting up with people frequently, or you could take greater pleasure in reading, writing, or tending to other communication based work.
And finally we wrap up Aries season with a solar eclipse! This is the first Aries eclipse that we’ve had since 2015, and it’s kicking off a fresh eclipse cycle across the signs of Aries and Libra that will last into 2025. Eclipses are often times of major new beginnings or major endings. This could manifest in big external events happening in the Aries ruled house of your chart, or it could be simply felt as an internal shift happening inside you. Things may feel a bit frantic around this time, especially because a Mercury retrograde is set to start two days later.
Here’s what to expect based on the above transits to your individual chart….
