Super helpful!!! I’m a cap rising, libra sun, cap moon and am super curious to see how it plays out. In 2017-2018 I was taking the bar exam and failed (a few times) and decided to take a break and focus on work and life. In October 2024 I decided to sign up again and just sat for the NY bar exam this week! My South node is in Virgo in my 9th house so am very curious to see how it all plays out!! And if I pass this time🤞🏼🫠
I'm always amazed at how spot-on you are, Alice. For context: Libra rising, with Mars at 11 degrees of Aries. Definitely "rethinking certain work partnerships" at the moment, and really curious about the March 29th eclipse.
Also, in March 2017 I moved to a new country and right now, I'm working on visa documentation to move to a new one.
Great breakdown! I planned on doing my own astro deep dive into March, but became so overwhelmed - this truly is a month for history books, so I’m going transit by transit on my substack with some resources like tarot spreads, workshops, guided meditations for each. One hurdle at a time. This was really helpful to zoom out and mobilize for what’s coming!
Not sure if I’m reading my astrology right, but last year my birthday took place during the Pisces lunar eclipse (UK time) I’m a Sagittarius rising, Virgo sun 25 degrees, Capricorn moon 3 degrees, Libra Mercury 3 degrees with my MC also there.
When the lunar eclipse took place, I made this realisation that I need a change in my life. A dream of mine had always been to move to London to peruse my masters in fashion design, and I never felt such a strong pull to finally go for it.
I spent the majority of November and December 2024 applying for the course, and sent my application off not long into the new year.
During this time frame my close friend also made a similar realisation and wants to make the move with me as well.
I had the interview for my course on the 13th of February where they offered me a place on the course.
Now I’m just waiting for the written confirmation that I have been accepted. I can only assume it will happen around the next Virgo lunar eclipse?
Upon reflection of 2015-2017, this was during my final years of high school. At this time in my life I was questioning my sexuality, whether I was straight or gay. I felt uncomfortable to be honest with my friends and would keep lots of secrets about meeting up with a guy I liked who happened to be a Pisces.
I was also heavily invested in my art and textiles and trying my best to get into a fashion university around this time and felt so uncertain about how I was going to achieve the grades to get in.
When it got to 2018, I finally came out to my friends as gay and felt I had unlocked a side of me to be free and honest.
Going to a different city to study at university made sense to start with a clean slate, and I felt I could date openly without fear.
Then when the eclipses happened in Sagittarius and Gemini that was when I met my first boyfriend.
I'm intrigued on what will happen! Virgo rising here with Venus at 9 degrees of Aries, Lilith at 23 degrees of Piscis and my angles are at 28 degrees of Virgo and Piscis (AC & DC). Currently I'm reflecting a lot on my self worth and how I approach relationships. From 2015-2016 I was studying abroad and graduated on 2017 and started working, so that was a major shift from being a student to joining the workforce. Thank you for this amazing article!
2025 has been the most chaotic year so far (both personally and for the world) and if I didn't know astrology, I too would be tearing my hair out. These hit in my 4th and 5th houses, which means the eclipses are hitting my angular houses of 4 and 10 (Pisces and Virgo). Personally my big struggle is motherhood and my career as I negotiate helping my disabled child start school and a new job for myself. My 5th house is also my sun and Mercury, so that also comes back again to children, but also my own desire to create, in fiery, feisty, not-so-great-at-following-through Aries.
Grateful to have your astrological guidance, especially when there is so much information on the internet/social media around months with a lot of astrological activity. Something about your writing and approach to relaying the information makes me feel grounded and present.
I heavily resonate with "It feels like there is so much uncertainty, it’s hard to plan for the future, and I just don’t have a lot of energy at the moment." With that said, as a libra rising, there is so much change waiting to happen in my career realm (I'm ending a work contract mid-April, career pivoting, and currently interviewing for grad schools to start in either summer/fall which will require a physical move away from my hometown) YET because I don't have any clear answers right now, it's been tough for me to visualize or set goals aside from getting accepted into a masters program first. I'm normally someone who has goals & categories set at the beginning of the year or at least by the end of January, but have been surrendering to the unknown energy, and not wanting to exert myself (mentally and emotionally) more than I need to.
**also just realizing that 2015-2017 was an identity shifting (external & internal) time for me
I'm hoping and also trust that this goal setting fog will lift soon for us all and also anticipate that i'll be hitting the ground running once it does!
Ahhh Leo rising with my Sun at 0 degrees, Mercury 9 degrees, and Saturn 8 degrees of Aries and Venus at 27 degrees and North Node 28 degrees of Pisces 😅 should be a fun one
Omg Alice this article could not be more timely! I’m an Aries rising with my chart ruler, Mars, at 9 degrees of Cancer, ascendant at 4 degrees Aries, Midheaven at 2 degrees Capricorn, moon at 28 degrees Gemini, and Venus at 0 degrees Aries. So needless to say I’m bracing myself for the astrology of March! But these tips were SUPER helpful! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much...so many things! Gemini sun/moon Leo rising... My soon to be Ex and I sold our house July 2024...I closed on a new home of my own in a new state Nov 8th. Wayyy sooner than I thought I would be moving but it just worked out. My younger brother (57) passed suddenly of cardiac arrest July 2024 (same day we closed on our house); that kicked off medical checkups and of course re-evaluating further my close relationships with friends and family which actually started initially when I filed for divorce Nov 2023. You realize who has your back in the tough times of your life. (helping my 85YO Mom through this as well) In March 2022 I had a sliding door moment in my marriage; took a 3 week east coast road trip to see friends - clear my head and by the time I came home I knew divorce was inevitable if nothing changed - nothing did and fortunately we are amicable at this point and in the final stages of signing the financial split. Documenting expenses and budgeting has been a big theme for me and now to build a new life in my new home and new community. I pray things start to settle moving forward so I can do my paint by numbers, read more and pick up my photography work down here...
Saturn isn’t an outer planet, since it’s a planet still seen by the naked eye in the sky. Def check the house placement of your Saturn as well as the houses ruled by Capricorn and Aquarius in your chart for further insight!
I love how you write about upcoming transits in such a detailed and yet accessible way! :) As a Leo rising with Saturn at 1 degree of Aries, Midheaven at 9 degrees of Aries, March in the last degrees of Virgo and Moon in the first degrees of Virgo, as well as several placements in the first and third decans of Cap, and currently approaching my first Saturn return... It feels like the March transits will hit my whole chart, this should definitely be interesting ^^ I've started to change careers in 2023 and 2024-2025 feel like a big transitional time for me. I'm quite anxious about all of this but also very curious to see how it unfolds...
You’re the best Alice!! Topic idea for a potential future newsletter: what does it mean when you have two planets / points at the exact same degree?
For example: I have Saturn and the Lot of Fortune both at 20 degrees in Aries in my 12th house. Also have Mercury and Lilith both at 15 degrees in Virgo.
At the start of my journey learning about degrees and you always explain it so clearly! Thank you :)
I'm loving the timing of this book recommendation!! I've literally been trying to find a book on the decans for the last couple of weeks and it's actually been hard to find one either reasonably priced or available. 🤪😅 I immediately ordered this one. 😄
15° Aries rising, Neptune and mc 2° of Capricorn, and my sun & Uranus are just outside of the 20° degree range at 18° of sag. Definitely been feeling the heavy, lethargic energy but today (27th of Feb) felt weirdly energized and upbeat with the Pisces moon. 🤩 Felt a little glimmer of hope and energy in amongst the chaos and heaviness. 🥰 Definitely leaning more into the positive aspects of Pisces, started a painting which I haven't done for years and it feels like such a Pisces piece. The quote with the inspiration was "some people will love you as long as you fit in their box. Don't be afraid to shove that box up their a**" 😄 and with Jupiter in Gemini I've felt my astrology learning progressing to a point where I've started doing some written chart work for friends. 🤩🙏🏻
Oh of course!! 🤩 my husbands just finished up his Saturn opposition too. 🤩🤩 Hopefully we get a glimpse of what's to come from all the serious work and foundation building we've been doing. 👏🏻👏🏻😄🙏🏻

Moving to different country def makes sense also with Jupiter transiting your 9th now!

If word of acceptance doesn’t come with the Virgo eclipse, it may when mars returns to Leo - your 9th house of education on April 18
Very insightful, thank you! Blessings 🙏✨🌱🦋

Huge Venus retrograde for you!!

The eclipses can be very tricky as it’s all about the balance between work and home. You have same chart set up as my husband! Ahaha

When Jupiter goes to cancer this summer it will be so good for your chart!

Literally your entire chart!!

0deg Aries is my Saturn should I be concerned? Astro folks seem to say only non outer planets are relevant but….regarding hitting natal planets ???
Saturn isn’t an outer planet, since it’s a planet still seen by the naked eye in the sky. Def check the house placement of your Saturn as well as the houses ruled by Capricorn and Aquarius in your chart for further insight!
Thanks for replying it’s my IC 😭🤪 wow didn’t realize that
Definitely a lot of home changes already gone on the last yr so should I expect more changes or is it speaking to the past year?

It won’t affect the 3rd decan of Capricorn placements that you have, but yes for everything else you have a lot going on!!
You’re the best Alice!! Topic idea for a potential future newsletter: what does it mean when you have two planets / points at the exact same degree?

It means they’re conjunct! Have a whole chapter on interpreting aspects in my book! Also recommend the book aspects in astrology by sue tompkins
Thank you!!!

What does it mean if you don't have any planets in the houses ruled by Aries and Pisces?
you're still noting the themes of those two houses, doesn't matter if you don't have any planets there.
Thanks! :) I'm definitely noting those themes!
